TOPS LAUNCHES “PORK – CHICKEN BLUE FLAG CORNER” CAMPAIGN

TOPS Supermarket has launched the “PORK – CHICKEN BLUE FLAG CORNER” campaign to promote discounted consumer products. This campaign follows the government’s policy to make consumers aware of discounted consumer products. The main focus of the campaign is pork and chicken, but there are more than 1,200 products which will be included in the “PORK – CHICKEN Blue Flag Corner” including rice, oil, sugar and ready to eat food. Mr. Thanong Bidaya, Commerce Minister, presided over the “PORK – CHICKEN BLUE FLAG CORNER” campaign during the opening ceremony held at TOPS Supermarket, in Rangsit on April 21 2005. “The increase in oil prices has resulted in a higher cost of living. Therefore, the timing of the “BLUE FLAG CORNER” campaign is perfect. It can be of great help to consumers.” TOPS Supermarket is the first supermarket to launch this campaign.
