Winner of Young Artist of Thailand Competition Announced

The winner of the Royal Over-Seas League’s Young Artist of Thailand competition was announced recently at Ocean World in Bangkok. Part cocktail reception, part art exhibition, the event attracted over 400 art lovers from all over Thailand. After a 2-day exhibition of the finalists’ works at Siam Paragon, the best 12 entries were then selected and displayed in front of an appreciative crowd. After careful consideration and vote, the winner was announced. Ms. Yu Hsin Hua was voted Young Artist of Thailand 2007 for her oil painting titled “The Pursuit of Peace”. “This is a dream come true and a unique chance for me as an artist. Thank you to the Royal Over-Seas League and to Raimon Land for giving all young artists in Thailand such an opportunity to showcase our work” commented Ms. Yu Hsin Hua upon receiving her trophy.
