In their joint effort to promote young artists in the international arena, Raimon Land and the Royal Over-Seas League (ROSL), together with CentralWorld ZEN Department Store and TK Park, recently organized a press conference to invite young artists aged 14 - 20 to participate in the ROSL Young Artist of Thailand Competition 2008. The winner will win a trip to England and the chance to exhibit his or her work in London. The competition is open to young artists aged between 14 - 20 who are Thai citizens or have been resident in Thailand for a period of more than one year and are nominated by their school, university or academy. Entrants are permitted to enter up to 3 works. An exhibition of 60 selected works from the semi-finalists will take place at the Eden Zone, Central World from 12 – 18 January 2009 while the finals and the gala reception will be held at a Gala Reception at ZEN Event Gallery, Level 8 on the evening of 16 January 2009. The winner of the competition will travel to London, exhibit their work and meet other accomplished artists from around the world of similar caliber.
