New Vice Presidents for Customer Development and Foods & Ice Cream bring in-depth experience to Thailand market
Mr. Bauke Rouwers, Chairman of the Unilever Thai Group of Companies, is pleased to announce the recent appointments of two new Vice Presidents to the Board of Unilever Thai Trading Ltd.
Welcoming the new Vice Presidents – Mrs. Supattra Paopiamsap, Vice President, Foods & Ice Cream, and Mr. Andrew Kennedy, Vice President Customer Development – Mr. Rouwers said the appointments brought significant additional in-depth experience to Unilever Thailand’s management team. “Khun Supattra and Andrew are strong additions to our Unilever Team in Thailand,” added Mr. Rouwers “with each bringing a wealth of experience from other markets to help drive our business here.”
Mrs. Supattra joined Unilever in 1992 as Regional Market Research Manager responsible for Southeast Asia Hair Care. Following increasingly more positions in Thailand, in 2004 she moved to Malaysia to become Vice President for Home & Personal Care. In 2006 she moved to Shanghai, China, becoming Vice President for Savory Brand Development for Greater China & South East Asia. She is married with two daughters.
Mr. Kennedy joined Unilever in 1997, working as a management trainee in South Africa. Nearly all of his career with Unilever has been spent in Customer Development, split evenly between Account Management and Customer Marketing roles. His career includes positions at Asda Wal-Mart, Customer Director for One-Unilever in the UK and a six-month placement in the Tesco Business Unit also in the UK. He is married with three children and enjoys a range of sports.
