Amari Watergate Bangkok, led by Area General Manager, Khun Sukamal Mondal had the honor to partner with Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) to host their "Sustainable Event Professional Certificate (SEPC)" training. The hotel's management team received their post-training certificates, led by Khun Chatpanu Moungthong, Head, Director of Sales.
It was an extremely educative two-days sharing of perspectives and knowledge on one of the most talked about topics, Sustainability. Amari Watergate Bangkok has been leading their sustainability program, "Sustainably Conscious' in all aspects. The entire coffee break set up during the events was under their "Sustainably Conscious" Meeting and Dining initiative. Their talented chefs curated menus to be in the theme of "Zero Waste" and "Zero Energy". This enabled them to conserve and minimize electricity, and reduce waste and carbon emissions.
As a result, Amari Watergate Bangkok along with TCEB with their determination and cooperation together, have avoided the carbon emission at 593.55-kilogram carbon which would be equivalent to planting 36 trees.
