HERBALIFE LAUNCHES NEW BROADCAST NETWORK TO UPGRADE TRAINING SYSTEM IN THE REGION

Press Releases »

Bangkok--Apr 1--Spark Communications Herbalife International (Thailand), a worldwide leader in advanced nutrition, has announced the launch of its new Herbalife Broadcast Network (HBN) initiative aimed at increasing the efficiency of training systems for its distributors in Asia Pacific. The company said the new initiative will upgrade its training systems in the region with 24 hours programming that will broadcast via an enhanced broadband internet service. Ms Wallapa Narunatvanich, General Manager of Herbalife (Thailand) said, "A major part of our strategy is to educate and train our distributors to better serve clients with more effective and efficient processes. Therefore, we are constantly looking at ways to streamline new, state-of-the-art technology and explore new methods of communication with our distributors. Distributors will now have rich, compelling content to educate, motivate and inspire them 24 hours a day." Prior to the new service via broadband system, Herbalife Broadcast Network broadcasted its training programs via satellite. This new service will make HBN accessible to a much wider audience, by providing fast, high quality and video imaging to anyone with Internet access. There are also negligible set-up costs, as distributors will no longer require a special satellite dish. "Increasing the efficiency of our broadcast network will allow us to consistently communicate with our distributors. They can access anytime from the comfort and convenience of their personal computer. This essentially helps our distributors to develop themselves by learning from our international training programs without having to spend a lot of money," said Narunatvanich. The new HBN is a library of regional training programs that are available in 17 languages. Distributors are able to search for any programs using specific criteria such as key words. They can also find a video program they like and share it via e-mail. Narunatvanich said: "We are very excited with the benefits of the new service that we provide to our distributors. They are now quickly and easily find what they are looking for in order to enhance their skills and abilities to better serve their clients."
