Herbalife continues its expansion in the personal care market with the launch of the “Herbal Aloe” collection. Through the combination of high quality natural ingredients and advanced technology, the collection includes of four items ideally suited for comprehensive hair and body care. This Herbalife collection is perfect for those looking for high-quality products for their families.
According to Ms. Wallapa Narunatvanich, Country Director of Herbalife International (Thailand) Ltd., today’s highly polluted environment is a key factor driving people to look for the products that can deeply cleanse hair and body while moisturizing their skin without causing irritation.
Based on this insight, Herbalife developed the new “Herbal Aloe” collection for hair and body. The collection includes Herbal Aloe Everyday Body Wash, a shower gel that will leave the skin fresh and clean; Herbal Aloe Everyday Soothing Gel to moisturize the skin; and Herbal Aloe Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner to cleanse and moisturize hair. These products are suitable for all members of the family.
All the four products in the Herbal Aloe collection meet the needs of a new generation of consumers who focus on selecting hair and body care products that help promote family members’ health. Thanks to real aloe vera extract, the irritation-free Herbal Aloe can effectively cleanse and moisturize both the hair and body.
“Consumers’ needs are the main factor behind Herbalife’s decision to import any product. According to Euro Monitor’s projections, skin wash has reported continual growth in the personal care segment with over 5.7% annual growth. The market value of skin wash is expected to increase to 11.19 billion baht in 2008. The bath liquid and gel segment is anticipated to be valued at 1.89 billion baht while the hair care segment is projected to grow 4.2% to 16.03 billion baht this year. The shampoo segment is believed to grow 2% to 6.34 billion baht and the conditioner segment value is expected to increase 5.7% to 2.80 billion baht. We therefore believe that the four new Herbal Aloe product items under these two product categories will receive good acceptance from Thai consumers,” concluded Ms Wallapa.
