FirstPoint Enterprise Product Leveraging Cisco? CallManager Recognized for its Contribution to Improving Communications Technology
Concerto Software, a leading provider of contact center solutions, announced today that its Internet Protocol (IP) solution, FirstPoint Enterprise product leveraging Cisco CallManager, has been awarded a 2004 Innovation Award from Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC?)’s TMC Labs division. Concerto Software gained the FirstPoint Contact suite of products through the company’s recent acquisition of Rockwell FirstPoint Contact.
“We are honored that TMC Labs recognized the FirstPoint Enterprise product leveraging Cisco CallManager as one of the most innovative products of 2004,” remarked Jim Foy, president and CEO of Concerto Software. “The FirstPoint Contact products boast a long tradition of innovation, and this product is no exception. We will continue this tradition as we integrate our company’s solutions.”
The FirstPoint Enterprise product leveraging Cisco CallManager, launched in May 2004, offers enterprise-level contact centers the most comprehensive Voice-over Internet Protocol (VoIP) solution currently available. FirstPoint Enterprise extends the capabilities of the Cisco CallManager infrastructure with the same product features, including the routing, reporting and monitoring functionality that are found in the time-division multiplexing (TDM) version of FirstPoint Enterprise.
“Concerto Software is clearly deserving of leadership status in the contact center industry. We’re proud to reward their hard work with a TMC Labs Innovation Award this year,” said TMC President Rich Tehrani.
According to Tom Keating, CTO and TMC Labs Editorial Director at TMC, “The Innovation Awards exemplify the best and the most unique products and services that this industry has to offer. Concerto Software has demonstrated a commitment to quality, and a commitment to the further development of the contact center industry through its FirstPoint Enterprise leveraging Cisco CallManager solution. Concerto Software deserves this great honor, and I look forward to seeing other innovative solutions from them as they continue to contribute to the future of the contact center marketplace.”
The list of 2004 Innovative Award winners appears in the September and October 2004 issues of Customer Inter@ction Solutions magazine.
Concerto Software won an Innovation Award in 2002 for its debut launch of the FirstPoint Enterprise product and in 2000 for its ContactPro product
