Following its Care and Convenience strategies, DTAC Postpaid develops the Privilege on Mobile (P.O.M) prototype, a new model to offer conveniences and privileges to Postpaid customers directly. Together, the company introduces ‘DTAC Postpaid Infinite’, the new program to reward 1.2 million customers who using the Postpaid service more than 1 year with privileges never exist before via a mobile phone throughout the year. Sunti Methavikul, DTAC’s Chief Customer Officer, said that DTAC Postpaid Infinite Program is the company’s intention to offer different privileges to customers following their age of usage (AOU) using DTAC Postpaid services. No matter how much customers spend in each month, they can conveniently and easily retrieve the special benefits from more than 1,000 shops and service providers partnered in this program. The company sets up the Infinite Line *1899 to provide customers information on privileges 24 hours. “Initially, we set over Bt120 million of budget for this program. We expect that the program will receive popularity customers since it makes thing easy for customers to claim their right and there are plenty of special benefits for customers to choose. We are bringing our Postpaid service into the era where ‘Customer is the Future’. What customers get from the program will be more than basic services and certainly will worth their spending. We have focused to build up a permanent relationship with customers since last year when we launched DTAC Postpaid Life Care campaign to take care of customers’ family,” said Sunti. Boonyagaid Chatudomdej, head of DTAC’s Postpaid Division said that DTAC tries to develop more new services to create the highest level of customers’ satisfactions. From the survey, customers normally carry about 4-5 plastic cards in their purse, which most of them are credit cards, ATM cards and other privilege cards. So, DTAC creates the Postpaid Infinite Program with the aim to revolutionize the way the market used to be since customers can directly claim the benefits right from a mobile phone without having to carry a member card. Customers can simply press *120# and then strike to call out. Then, they will receive a confirmation message from a selected shop directly. “This is a model of the Privilege on Mobile since it allows customers to get more conveniences via a mobile phone. Customers can exercise their right to claim the privileges everyday throughout the year,” said Boonyagaid. “DTAC Postpaid Infinite” is the privilege program that DTAC intents to specially offer to DTAC Postpaid customers at all levels. The program is expanded to enable customers of all DTAC Postpaid packages who use the service for one year over, totally about 1.2 million, to receive special benefits thoroughly. Customers are divided into 3 group following their age of usage; 1) Infinite Max for 600,000 customers who use the Postpaid service for 1-5 years, 2) Infinite Maxi for 400,000 customers who use the service for 5.1 – 10 years, and 3) Infinite Maximize for 200,000 customers comprised of Maximize, DMax and corporate customers who use the service for over 10 years. DTAC will inform customers in which group of Infinite they belong via SMS broadcast by May 15 onwards. “DTAC Postpaid Infinite” prepares caravan of privileges to provide happiness to customers considerably. The privileges can respond to customers’ lifestyle as they cover entertainment, traveling, health, security, knowledge, financial, food and beverage, for instance. Four types of privileges to offer to customers are Travel Smart, Hot Surprise, 365 Delights, and Exclusive Service. Travel Smart Customers receive 10% discount when purchase Royal Orchid tour package and also 5% discount when buy TG domestic flight. At the same time, customers receive the right to buy an international flight of TG or other airline at the real special rate via Infinite Line *1899 or at Six Stars Travel’s 4 branches only. Hot Surprise DTAC Postpaid Infinite enable customers to win 50% discount coupons from its ‘Haft Price’ campaign for shopping at leading department stores. Also, customers can select to buy 1 item and get 1 free or to get a discount up to 50% when buy a product or service via its ‘Happy Hour’ program. 365 Delights DTAC Postpaid is the first Postpaid mobile operator that offers privileges that respond to every lifestyle of customers every day throughout the year.
