The Blue Elephant Group has joined hands with RICH India and Radio Thailand to organize a unique charity event "BollyCruise on the River of Kings". Initiated by RICH India, the event celebrates Lord Ganesh’s birthday and raises funds for the Asian Elephant Foundation of Thailand. The 3-hour wine, dine and dance journey along the Chao Phraya River on board the Royal Thai Navy’s “Angsana” VIP cruiser will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2011 from 6.30 p.m., and will also include a charity auction. Master Chef Nooror Somany Steppe of the Blue Elephant has created a special five-course dinner, which has been inspired by nature’s best and favoured by elephants such as fresh coconuts, sugar cane and bananas, all of which will be from HM the King’s Doi Kham Royal Project.
