DKSH, the leading Market Expansion Services provider with a focus on Asia, launches with Doosan, leading Korean industrial mechanical products manufacturer, the DX225LCA “Doosan DX series” hydraulic excavator to support large operators and the construction industry during the post-flood rehabilitation phase.
Hailed as a world-class hydraulic excavator and backed by DKSH’s comprehensive, nation-wide after-sales service network, the Doosan DX225LCA is a welcome addition to Thailand’s infrastructure development and construction industries.
Jareuk Meekhanthong, Deputy General Manager, Businss Unit Technology, DKSH Thailand, says: “We have seen consistent growth of sales of vehicles and equipment for large infrastructure work following the efforts of both the government and the private sector across the country to rebuild the areas affected by the flood last year. As the leading service provider in Thailand for the heavy construction industry, we are pleased to introduce another of Doosan’s top-quality heavy machinery and equipment to the Thai market. The Doosan DX225LCA will be available to the construction and infrastructure industries in the second half of 2012.”
Dennis Jeong, Regional Manager for South East Asia, Doosan Infracore, explains: “Doosan is a Korean company with a complete range of world-class standard heavy machinery for the construction sector. Our commercial history goes back 115 years and we are the ninth largest business group in Korea. We are proud that Doosan’s top-notch technology supported the containment and recovery efforts inside the nuclear reactors at the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant in Japan after the earthquake of 2011. We were honored to supply Haiti with 13 excavators to assist in the recovery efforts following their devastating earthquake. We have recognized that due to last year’s floods, Thailand needs quality heavy machinery to help with the infrastructure rebuilding process. That is why we are working with DKSH to introduce more of our superiod excavator products to this market to meet the demand during this period.”
Jeong adds: “Operators and entrepreneurs look for products which offer optimal return on investment. They want performance, quality, and fuel-efficient products. For any type of machinery, after-sales service is an important element, and we are working closely with DKSH, our partner and distributor of large machinery in Thailand, to ensure that our customers can obtain high-quality and reliable services for Doosan’s hydraulic excavators.”
The Doosan DX225LCA is part of the “Doosan DX series” and is an improvement upon the Solar 225LC. It is a hydraulic excavator with added features, designed to be more powerful while conserving fuel and offering more comfort to the operator. The Doosan DB58TIS engine is equipped with the innovative e-EPOS (Electronic Power Optimizing System) which facilitates the sharing of information between the engine and the hydraulic system, ensuring optimal performance and fuel efficiency. The materials have been tested for their durability against impact, bending, and twisting, which translates into longer service life, less need for maintenance, and lower service cost in the long run.
“To meet growing demand, DKSH has opened a distribution center and workshop in the Wangnoi District of Ayutthaya, the centers will serve as training facility for operators as well. We are completing our network of regional sales and service centers for all types of Doosan heavy equipment to best serve our customers. With such a comprehensive service offering, we want to help customers fully understand and personally experience Doosan’s high-performance products,” comments Jareuk.
