SINGHA Corporation recently announced its 4th year of sponsorship for the Phuket King’s Cup Regatta, the annual international sailing competition that has been now held for 28 years in the crystal clear waters of the Andaman Sea, and scheduled to take place again from 29 November – 6 December 2014.

This year, as always, we aim to make the beach parties after the race as vibrant and fun as possible for all of the competing sailors and visiting VIP participants. The region’s largest regatta includes dinghies (International Dinghy Classes), keelboats and multihulls amongst its competitive classes, and will feature a Sail Pass to celebrate His Majesty the King's birthday (scheduled to be held on the morning of 5th December). The Royal Awards Ceremony is to be held on 6th December. Competing sailors come from USA, Australia, England, Russia, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, China, and Cyprus, along with renowned Thai sailors of exceptional ability, including Ithinai Yingsiri, Radab Kanjanavanit, MR Biranubongse Bhanubandh and CPO.1 Wiwat Poonpat.
