Mr. Daniel Schwalb, Commercial Director of Siam Winery Trading Plus Co., Ltd. said, “We are delighted to be able to present Finca de Malpica Spanish wine both red and white at the 2014 Phuket King’s Cup Regatta, one of our standout sponsorship programmes of the year. In keeping with the regatta’s classic traditions of beachside partying, relaxation, high energy fun and an international flavour, it is a great pleasure for Siam Winery to introduce its Spanish wine labels at this superb sporting event.”
Finca de Malpica wine is made from grapes grown in Osborne vineyard in the heart of Spain’s Toledo region, produced with the know-how acquired from more than 200 years of experience in winemaking. The winery sits on land steeped in literally thousands of years of winemaking tradition, and is produced through “minimum controlled vine units” to get the best of each of these small plots and their different varieties of grapes.
Kevin Whitcraft, President of the Phuket King’s Cup Regatta Organizing Committee said, “On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I would like to express my kind appreciation to Siam Winery for remaining an excellent and notable sponsor of the Phuket King’s Cup Regatta for seven consecutive years. Thailand’s top wine producer and importer is so closely associated with the King’s Cup that its offering of superbly accessible wines has become a big part of the beachside party series, and of course, a hit with guests. We’re delighted to have them on board again for 2014 as a key sponsor of another memorable sailing year.”
