Winners were identified from a pool of 4,726 hotels across three categories - creativity, engagement and commitment to impacting young people. Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa received an award for their creative approach in achieving this goal and received money to further contribute to their community projects.
The hotel hosted a Hospitality day and invited 220 students from Phuket Vocational College. Students were given an opportunity to engage in operational departments with role plays to demonstrate handling guest interactions like check-in at the reception, conducting site inspections; sessions showcasing table set-ups, laying of buffet were conducted giving students a chance to experience a daily work life at a Hilton Hotel.
