The selection process includes an employee survey and an in-depth questionnaire about company practices and programs. Great Place to Work® then evaluates each application using its unique methodology based on five dimensions: credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie.

Creators of the methodology behind the list, Great Place to Work®, have found that employees believe they work for great organizations when they consistently trust the people they work for, have pride in what they do and enjoy the people they work with.
Hilton Worldwide listens closely to its Team Members to help create the benefits and programs that matter most to them. Examples include industry-leading parental leave policies that provide ten weeks of fully paid leave for mothers, as well as paid time off for fathers and adoptive parents. In 2015, the company introduced a new GED Assistance program to help employees in the U.S. earn their high school equivalency diploma. In addition, the company provides 10-day advanced scheduling for hourly Team Members and continues to expand remote workforce opportunities.
