Krungsri (Bank of Ayudhya PCL), led by Mr. Kenichi Yamato (3rd from right), President and Chief Executive Officer, has joined forces with Dr. Arthit Ourairat (3rd from left), President of Rangsit University and Chairman of AIH, to advance Thailand's healthcare system to international standards. Krungsri has provided a Sustainability Loan to support the development of Arthit International Hospital (AIH), Thailand's first private medical university hospital. This financing marks the first and largest sustainability loan for the healthcare sector in Southeast Asia, and has received the "Best Sustainability Loan" award at The Asset Triple A Sustainable Finance Awards, reinforcing the project's credibility, regional impact, and role as a benchmark for future sustainable healthcare developments.
Developed under the concept of "The Most Advanced, Humanized, and Ethical Quaternary Medical Care," the AIH project prioritizes excellence in quaternary care with the goal of positioning Thailand as globally competitive and a reliable, non-discriminatory resource for humanity. The hospital is also being built as a green building in line with international standards and will serve as a learning center integrating medical technology to train healthcare professionals.
