Krungsri (Bank of Ayudhya Public Company Limited and its automotive finance arm, Ayudhya Capital Auto Lease Public Company Limited or Krungsri Auto) today announced that it has entered into an Asset Purchase Agreement to acquire automotive financing portfolios from CIMB Thai Auto Company Limited and WorldLease Company Limited, both subsidiaries of CIMB Thai Bank Public Company Limited.
The acquisition, which is subject to closing conditions, is expected to be completed within 2026.
Krungsri President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Kenichi Yamato, said, "This acquisition is a strategic move that expands our reach and further strengthens Krungsri Auto's position as a leading player in Thailand's automotive finance market.
