Mitsubishi targets to achieve 200 outlets within 2 years for supporting ECO Car launching

Mitsubishi Motors Thailand reports the progress of its dealer network expansion policy that there are total 40 new outlets of both new and existing dealers have been approved. The company target to achieve 200 outlets in 2013. Mr. Atsushi Seino, Vice President of Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Company Limited informed that regarding to the company Reinforce Dealer Network policy that aim to enhance the customer satisfaction by increasing the number of showrooms in Bangkok and Up-Country to cover the market demand by announcing to recruit new dealer since 2010 which gets warm welcome from both new investors and MMTh existing dealers who need to expand their business. Currently Mitsubishi network has 97 dealership with 150 outlets nationwide for sales and aftersales service. In order to support the growth of the automotive industry especially for passenger car segment which the total demand in Up-Country especially big cities of each region are continually grow up and to prepare for the launch of the Eco Car “Mitsubishi Global Small” which will be introduced to Thai market next year, the company has expanded dealer network along with improved Mitsubishi showrooms to meet the company standard and we have got warm welcome from investors who need to expand their business with us. Besides 41 outlets located in Bangkok, MMTh has total 109 outlets in Up-Country; 35 outlets located in Central, 24 outlets of North, 29 outlets of Northeast and 21 outlets of South. MMTh targets to achieve 160 showrooms nationwide by the end of this year and expand to 200 showrooms in 2013” Mr.Seino said Mr. Seino also added that “When consider sales performance, we can say that the dealer network expansion has supported Mitsubishi sales a lot. In the first 8 months (Jan-Aug) MMTh sold 47,061 units and around 12% of this figure is the result of our “Reinforce Dealer Network’s policy.” In order to maintain Mitsubishi standard in term of image, operation and service, the company also have Dealer Development Department who continually take care, support, follow and inspect dealers as well as to evaluate and award dealers who achieve high score in Sales, Service and Spare Partoperation in order to establish customer confidence in MMTh business.
