GFA Introduces Cream & Fudge ‘Golden Ticket’ campaign to capture additional market share

GFA Corporation (Thailand) Ltd introduced today its ‘Golden Ticket’ campaign aimed at increasing customer awareness and encouraging additional sales of its “The Cream & Fudge Factory” brand offering mix-in super premium ice-cream. The campaign will start today and end on August 15th, 2006. The “Golden Tickets” will provide 5 lucky winners to have a free ice-cream every day for one year at any “The Cream & Fudge Factory” store in Bangkok. The campaign which offers a further 14,000 tickets for a variety of other prizes will run at 4 of the brand’s 6 stores located at Siam Paragon, Future Park Rangsit, Seacon Square and Central World Plaza which is scheduled to open on 20th July. Mr Fred Mouawad, Chairman & CEO of GFA Corporation (Thailand) Ltd, said “To broaden our reach and create excitement for our brand we are launching the ‘Golden Ticket’ campaign as our first major marketing initiative for The Cream & Fudge Factory brand since it was introduced to consumers in Thailand on December 9th, 2005 at our Siam Paragon store. The campaign is inspired by “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” book written by Roald Dahl and published in 1964. We took the idea of offering 5 Golden Tickets, but instead of having the winners visit the Chocolate Factory of Willy Wonka we are offering the winners a free ice-cream every day for one year. Any customer purchasing ice cream to the value of Bt. 150 or more at any of our stores in Bangkok will be eligible to win one of the 5 ‘Golden Tickets’ or other prizes too” Mr Fred added, “Our ice-cream is truly unique. We say it is the “creamiest ice-cream on earth” and anyone tasting it will recognize the difference immediately. Once you taste a superior creamy ice-cream you will never settle for less. In addition to the premium texture of our ice-cream customers can have it mixed with their favourite mix-ins of nuts, fruits, or candies. And we make it fun by giving customers a visual experience. You simply order what you like, and our trained staff mixes the ice-cream and mix-ins in an entertaining way on a frozen marble slab, so our customers can experience the whole process. “Our company specialises in building brands and innovating new products to provide a great customer experience.
