In cooperation with giant record label GMM Grammy and in efforts to emerge as modern life insurance company under concept of “Life Partner…and Beyond”, Ocean Life Insurance moves on with its Music Marketing strategy this year and hosts “Ocean Life Insurance presents MIC Idol 3” searching the top 4 young music talents. Finalists will join professional singing workshop vying for the opportunity to have their own single with Grammy. Mrs. Nusara (Assakul) Banyatpiyaphod, Managing Director of Ocean Life Insurance Company Limited disclosed that the company has continued with its music marketing strategy in cooperation with GMM Grammy Public Company for the second year with the “Ocean Life Insurance presents MIC Idol 3” singing contest project. The project will allow young musical talents nationwide to bring their best on stage with the opportunity to join Thailand’s leading record label. The project has so far received an overwhelming response from over 3000 applicants from 4 regions of Thailand. The “Ocean Life Insurance Presents MIC Idol 3” has invited young musical enthusiasts who are 15 to 24 years of age to audition since 1 September 2011 and received as many as 3,000 interested contestants. The audition, conducted in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Songkla and Nakon ratchsima, narrowed down to identity 25 representatives from 4 regions to compete in the semi-final round on 22 November at the Atrium Square 2, Siam Center Shopping Mall. The four finalists will participate in the professional singing workshop to get ready for the final round on Friday 23 December 2011. The prizes include Nissan Marsh sedan, over 500,000 baht cash, release of own single and Personal Accident Policy from Ocean Life Insurance valued 2,500,000 baht for all 4 finalists. Ocean Life Insurance has modernized its corporate image to respond to the new generation needs since 2009. It has launched a new series of TV commercials and applied Music Marketing strategy in 2010 because music is an effective medium to attract and raise brand awareness among the target audience. The Company also organized “Ocean Life Insurance Friendship Song” in cooperation with GMM Grammy and received an overwhelming response. The Company therefore continues with its Music Marketing strategy with The “Ocean Life Insurance Presents MIC Idol 3” this year. “We are confident that the “Ocean Life Insurance Presents MIC Idol 3” will reach the target audience of the new generation and raise our brand awareness among them.
