DHL further simplifies logistics processes for Thai SMEs

- 30% discounts and online credit card payment plan on MyDHL Portal DHL Express, the world’s leading international express services provider, has introduced enhanced flexibility for users of its MyDHL portal by launching a credit card payment scheme and a 30% discount for Thai SMEs. MyDHL is a portal that centralizes DHL’s shipping tools aimed at helping individual customers and small-medium enterprises (SMEs) connect seamlessly with global markets. Following the successful launch of the MyDHL portal in Thailand last year, over 2,000 DHL customers in Thailand registered for MyDHL and immediately benefited from a single login and quick access to DHL Express services, shipping and tracking solutions. The portal allows users to access DHL’s online shipping solution, WebShipping, its tracking service, ProView, and its online shipping tool, Import Express Online, which allows DHL Express customers to more efficiently prepare and managed their entire shipping processes. Among those customers surveyed in Thailand that signed up for MyDHL, many expressed an interest in having more flexible payment opportunities to further simplify logistics processes. The credit card payment scheme on the MyDHL portal is available to both current and non DHL account holders and all credit cards can be used. Held in conjunction with the launch of the new credit card payment scheme, from 14 October – 31 December, DHL Express is offering 30% discount off the published tariff rate when customers ship and pay by credit via MyDHL. “MyDHL Portal has proven to be a tremendous success in attracting current and new customers to the ‘virtual extension’ that provides customers for their existing shipping department, making international shipping even easier than before. Customers have welcomed the portal’s advanced functionality in allowing them to manage multiple users and contacts, request new accounts, schedule pickups and track packages. We have now gone further to enable a more flexible payment scheme. The solution works with all credit cards so SMEs can immediately benefit with an ‘easy to use’ ultra-flexible payment plan,” said Yasmin Aladad Khan, Senior Vice President, DHL Express Southeast Asia.
