Photo Release: Indorama Ventures hands over Waste Recycle Bank Building to Krok Yai Cha School, Rayong

Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited led by Mr. Sunil Fotedar (Center), President of PTA Business – Rayong and team, handed over the Waste Recycle Bank Building after its renovation to Krok Yai Cha School, Rayong Province. This waste recycle bank building was established in 2014 by IVL. The project not only contributes to a cleaner environment but also raises public awareness on the importance of recycling and the value of waste materials, which can become a source of income as well. Students are able to earn extra money by collecting waste. The community has been collected waste 21,770.52 Kgs 2,208 Kgs of PET bottles produced income of more than 43,113 Baht. The school is also represented as a model school in Rayong for studying waste recycle banks according to Eco-schools guidelines. Moreover, IVL exhibited about recycled PET raw materials and recycled PET products, and also delivered 500 recycling shirts made from PET bottles to teachers and students at the event
