Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited (IVL), a global chemical producer and recycler, handed over 1,000 bedding sets to Wetchakarunrasm hospital in Bangkok and three hospitals in Nakhon Pathom province; namely Sam Pran Hospital, Luang Por Poen Hospital, and Phuttha Monthon Hospital. Each bedding set is made from yarn produced by recycling 45 PET beverage bottles. The bedding has an innovative coating, preventing bacteria multiplying in (or on) the fiber and improves hygiene . The donation supports hospitals treating COVID-19 patients. Post-consumer PET soft drinks and water bottles were collected for recycling through partnerships with Big C Supercenter and The Street Ratchada as part of on-going corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs.
