QSNCC adds new event profile to Thailand by hosting "Jewellery & Gem ASEAN Bangkok 2023"

The Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) is adding new event profile to Thailand by hosting "Jewellery & Gem ASEAN Bangkok 2023" (JGAB) for the first time in the country on April 26-29, 2023.

Informa Markets Thailand, one of the world's leading trade exhibition organizers, says it sees great potential for the Thai jewellery industry and is ready to push Thailand as a gem and jewellery trading center on the global stage.

"Jewellery & Gem ASEAN Bangkok 2023" (JGAB) is part of Jewellery & Gem WORLD, the world's most prestigious jewellery fair which is held annually in Hong Kong. This is the first time that JGAB is held in Thailand.

The trade fair gathers more than 400 brands of gems and jewellery with more than 10,000 rare gems and jewellery collections from exhibitors from 15 countries around the world. In addition to being an important international gathering of buyers, sellers, and jewellery designers, the JGAB is also a place where entrepreneurs in the industry gather to exchange their views.

Highlights at the event include a gems and jewellery exhibition area to show off tools and equipment from 11 countries, the 'JGAB Runway', and the 'Young Designer Awards' design contest. In addition, the event will feature dress and jewelry trend updates from around the globe.

"In 2022, the jewellery industry in Thailand grew steadily. The value of jewellery exports reached 500 billion baht, an increase of 49.82% year-on-year as a result from the country's opening after the pandemic, the economic recovery, and the depreciation of the baht, which allowed foreigners to shop in the country more conveniently," said Anuchana Vichvech, Event Director of Informa Markets Thailand, revealed that "Jewellery & Gem ASEAN Bangkok 2023" (JGAB)
