Unveiling the "PLANET SCB x Visa" initiative, this campaign extends exclusive perks to PLANET SCB cardholders, granting complimentary access to international airport lounges through DragonPass. During the campaign duration, those who use their PLANET SCB cards for online or EDC payment transactions in foreign currencies totaling 20,000 baht or more will qualify for up to three DragonPass accesses. This promotion is valid from today until January 31, 2024, permitting access for a single person per card throughout this timeframe. Mrs. Sunsuda Sangiambut, Senior Vice President of the Issuing Products Division at Siam Commercial Bank, and Ms.Kamolporn Kongkiatngam, Marketing Director of Visa Thailand, presided over the campaign's launch.
In line with findings from Visa's Thailand's Travel Intentions Study 2023 - Outbound Edition, when conducting transactions abroad the most commonly used modes of payment include payment cards (69%), physical currency (61%), as well as mobile contactless and digital wallets (57%). The study reveals that the key benefits of on-the-go digital payments are security (60%), convenience (56%), and the ability to monitor expenditures (49%).
