19 CEOs shortlisted for SET Awards 2024; ceremony set for October 30

SET President Asadej Kongsiri said that SET and Money & Banking Magazine have jointly organized the SET Awards 2024 ceremony to honor listed companies, securities companies, asset management companies, financial advisors, real estate investment trusts, and top executives of listed companies who have excelled in various areas. The awards are divided into two categories: the Business Excellence Awards and the Sustainability Excellence Awards.

"The SET Awards ceremony is presented to recognize companies that excel in both business potential and sustainability, especially in operating businesses amid the challenges of rapidly evolving factors in the current environment. These companies serve as role models for various business sectors in improving organizational quality, fostering innovation, and delivering strong performance, while operating responsibly towards stakeholders with consideration for the environment, society, and governance, leading to sustainable growth. The SET Awards is one of the continuous initiatives organized by SET, and this year marks SET's 50th anniversary under the theme "Make it 'Work' for Every Future," said Mr. Asadej.

Money & Banking magazine Editor-in-Chief Santi Viriyarangsarit, who is also the SET Awards' co-founder and one of the distinguished working team members, said that the rising number of applicants every year reflects the importance of the SET Awards, which are widely recognized by all sectors in the capital market. He believes that the SET Awards will be a significant motivation for companies to develop business excellence alongside sustainable development, to become exemplary model organizations in the Thai capital market.

The panel of honorary judges for the SET Awards 2024 consists of Chaiyawat Wibulswasdi, Seri Jintanaseri, Santi Viriyarangsarit, Yut Worachatthan, Patareeya Benjapolchai, Teeranun Srihong, Asadej Kongsiri, Soraphol Tulayasathien, and Amnuay Jiramahapoka as secretary of this working group.

The SET Awards are divided into two categories:

The Business Excellence Awards for companies with outstanding business operations, internal management, and continuous organizational innovation creation, as well as outstanding financial transactions in the capital market. This category comprises eight awards:

1. Best CEO Awards and Young Rising Star CEO Awards
2. Best Company Performance Awards
3. Best REIT Performance Awards
4. Deal of the Year Awards
5. Best Investor Relations Awards
6. Best Innovative Company Awards
7. Best Securities Company Awards
8. Best Asset Management Company Awards

The Sustainability Excellence Awards for companies committed to sustainable business growth with consideration for environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors. This category comprises two awards:

1. Sustainability Awards
2. Supply Chain Management Awards

Additionally, there is the prestigious SET Awards of Honor for companies or individuals who have maintained excellence consistently for three years or more.
