KEX Express (Thailand) Public Company Limited or KEX, the country's leading express delivery provider, has announced the implementation of a new pricing model to align with current market changes. The new pricing model will be based on both the actual weight and dimensions of parcels. Additionally, the company has adjusted its service zone areas to ensure a more accurate and appropriate calculation of delivery fees. This new pricing model will be effective starting January 8, 2025.
Details of the New Pricing Model:
- Service Charges Based on Actual Weight and Dimensions*Service charges will be calculated according to the actual weight and dimensions of the parcel, ensuring value for every delivery.
- Service Charges for Deliveries Using seal bag (Up to 3 kg)Parcels weighing up to 3 kilograms or those using KEX seal bag will have service charges calculated based on their actual weight only.
- Service Charges Based on Destination AreaService charges will vary by destination area, which is divided into two zones: 1) Bangkok and greater Bangkok, and 2) Provincial areas. This segmentation allows for easier calculation and more flexible service options.
- Service Charges for Remote Areas*An adjusted service charge applies for deliveries to remote areas. Charges will be based on the weight or size of the parcel and the destination area.
