We are delighted to welcome President Bakery Public Company Limited as a partner in this initiative, and we look forward to collaborating on our shared journey toward greater environmental stewardship."

Through this Green Term Deposit programme, President Bakery has made a significant deposit with UOB Thailand, which will be allocated solely to environmentally responsible projects in line with the Bank's sustainable finance framework. These funds will support various sustainable initiatives, including renewable energy, energy efficiency, green building construction, and other projects aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).

Mr Apisate Thammanomai, Managing Director of President Bakery Pcl., said, "We are honoured to partner with UOB Thailand on this green deposit initiative, which reflects our dedication to sustainable and responsible business practices. The partnership with UOB underscores the company's broader ESG's strategy, which includes reducing greenhouse gas emissions, minimising waste, and fostering community involvement and employee development for improved well-being.

Additionally, this collaboration provides President Bakery with an annual report detailing the industries and environmental impacts their deposits have supported through UOB's sustainable financing projects. "This information will serve as a valuable resource for President Bakery to integrate into their sustainability reporting and further strengthens their commitment to transparency and accountability in ESG efforts while ensuring stable returns," added Mrs Vira-anong.
