SolarEdge Announces Availability of New Three-Phase Solar and Energy Storage Solution for Thai Homeowners

Following the launch of SolarEdge's single-phase solution in 2023, the new three-phase backup system expands the company's offering to meet the needs of larger homes in Thailand, providing reliable power to homes both on and off the grid. The SolarEdge 10kW Home Hub Inverter, paired with the SolarEdge Home Battery 48V and Backup Interface, offers up to 10kW of backup power with a 5kWh battery capacity. This scalable system allows for the stacking of additional battery modules, supporting up to 23 kWh for increased energy storage capacity.

SolarEdge Home is already in use in numerous homes worldwide. Designed to harvest more energy from the sun, the DC-Coupled battery architecture reduces energy losses, by eliminating the 'triple-conversion penalty', with two less power conversions required than AC-coupled alternatives, for industry-leading round-trip efficiency of 95.4%. Additionally, the system's 200% DC oversizing, ensuring greater energy production over the system's lifetime.

SolarEdge Home prioritizes safety with advanced built-in features including SafeDC(TM) and arc fault detection & termination functionality, helping to meet stringent safety regulations, including the EIT mandatory standards.

For installers, the SolarEdge Home portfolio is designed to simplify installation from design to commissioning and reduce installation time thanks to its plug-and-play wireless connectivity.
