Cairo, Egypt - June 2025 - Absolute Hotel Services Middle East & Africa (AHS MEA) is proud to announce the signing of a landmark hotel and branded residences management agreement with EGYGAB Developments for its lifestyle resort project Masaya, located in Sidi Abdelrahman on Egypt's North Coast. The agreement introduces U Hotels, one of AHS's signature lifestyle brands, to one of the region's fastest-growing resort destinations.

The agreement includes operating and managing a 108-key hotel, 82 branded residences, and 7 branded luxury villas, positioning Masaya as the first fully integrated resort on the North Coast to be managed entirely under the U Hotels brand.
"Partnering with EGYGAB on the Masaya project is a key milestone in our regional expansion strategy and reflects our confidence in Egypt as a priority market," said Kevork Deldelian, CEO of AHS MEA. "The North Coast is emerging as one of the most promising resort corridors in the region, and Masaya, through its vision and strategic location, represents the ideal fit for our U Hotels brand."
The partnership brings AHS's global expertise spanning Asia, Europe, and the Middle East into a project redefining resort living in Egypt. U Hotels, known for its design-led approach and service flexibility, will oversee all hotel services, guest experiences, and residence operations across the U Masaya resort, ensuring a unified and seamless hospitality standard.
Eng. Mohamed Gaballah, Chairman of EGYGAB Developments, emphasised the strategic importance of this partnership:
"This partnership marks a new chapter for Masaya, positioning it as the first fully integrated resort on Egypt's North Coast managed under an international five-star brand. It aligns with our vision to maximise value for our clients and directly supports Egypt's 2030 tourism strategy by expanding high-quality hotel offerings in high-potential destinations."
EGYGAB developed Masaya, which spans over 30 acres (approximately 126,000 sqm) and has already completed 80% of construction. With a master plan focused on privacy, natural views, and layered elevation, the resort ensures that nearly every unit benefits from uninterrupted sea views.
"Masaya is one of our flagship projects, designed to offer a nature-inspired living experience that blends comfort, sustainability, and architectural elegance," added Eng. Sherihan Gaballah, CEO of EGYGAB. "From the Shell units shaped like seashells to eco-friendly cabins, every detail reflects our human-centric approach and our commitment to redefining how communities connect with their environment."
The collaboration also reflects a shared vision between both companies to create elevated living experiences that combine hospitality, sustainability, and community. According to Halim Fouad, COO of AHS MEA:
"Egypt continues to stand out as a prime destination for investment, particularly in the tourism sector. Our partnership with EGYGAB on the Masaya project marks a strategic milestone in delivering world-class hospitality to the North Coast, elevating the experience for hotel guests and homeowners alike."
This agreement also marks the beginning of a broader collaboration between AHS MEA and EGYGAB, with both parties exploring further opportunities in Cairo and other key locations across Egypt.
