Bangkok Bank launches 'Merchant Pro' app enabling merchants to receive payments in the digital era conveniently and securely with features that help with store management.

Bangkok Bank is enhancing the digital payment experience through merchants nationwide by launching "Bangkok Bank Merchant Pro" or "Merchant Pro", an application to receive money via QR Code with full features. It can be used with both Thai and foreign mobile banking. It is more convenient as it connects to Bangkok Bank accounts seamlessly. It helps merchants receive money quickly, manage sales professionally in one app. "BeMerchant NextGen" users are invited to migrate to the new app. The migration is convenient as users don't need to change the QR Code for receiving money. The app will be available for download on June 1, 2025 onwards. This emphasizes the Bank's role as a "trusted partner" to enhance the efficiency of payment services to meet the needs of entrepreneurs and support them to strongly move towards the digital economy.

Bangkok Bank Executive Vice President and Credit Card Division Manager Shoke Na Ranong stated that the Bank is committed to enhancing financial services to deliver a seamless and modern payment experience. To support this goal, the Bank recently launched the "Merchant Pro" app, designed to meet the diverse needs of merchants by enabling fast, convenient, and secure digital payments. The app also features integrated tools for both payment processing and in-store product management.

The "Merchant Pro" app comes with new features that will help merchants receive payments more conveniently as follow:

• Easy to use and secure: you can access the app with your mobile number, password and face or fingerprint scan
• There is a real-time summary through a dashboard that shows sales at a glance and a daily summary, separated by channels that receive money
• Manage products within the app: increased convenience and clarity for stores including add photos, set prices, cart menu, and create QR Codes for individual cart checkout
• It is convenient for stores with multiple branches where there may be multiple cashiers, all of them can receive money
• Notify every payment with a new notification sound effect that instantly notifies when the funds go into your account, so you can be sure that you receive all payments
• Cross-border payments are supported including PromptPay, Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay, Alipay+ and WeChat Pay, making it convenient for both customers using Thai mobile banking systems and foreign tourists using Cross-Border QR Payment services
• Summarizes each day's sales including an automatic summary at 11 p.m. when the funds will be transferred to the account the next day

Mr. Shoke added that new entrepreneurs can easily start using the "Merchant Pro" app by downloading it from the App Store or Google Play starting June 1, 2025, and verifying their identity through the "Bangkok Bank Mobile Banking" app for immediate access.

Current users of the BeMerchant NextGen app can seamlessly switch to the new "Merchant Pro" app by downloading it, selecting "Move data now," and following the on-screen steps. You can continue using your existing QR Code for payments without any changes, ensuring uninterrupted service. Please be noted that the BeMerchant NextGen app will remain available only until June 19, 2025.
