Bangkok Bank Executive Vice President for Consumer Banking Pochanee Kongkalai (5th from right), Vice Persident for the Electronic Processing System Rattaporn Chayasiriwong (2nd from right), Regional Manager 3 Metropolitan Sirikun Chaiyasing (4th from right) and Saphan Phra Pinklao Branch Manager Narisa Laowphanich (right) represented the Bank to hand over a donation of 76,064,915.97 baht to Prof. Apichat Asavamongkolkul, M.D., Dean of Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University (left) on Mahidol Day. The donation is a result of a co-branded debit and credit card project between Siriraj Hospital and Bangkok Bank that took place between September 1, 2024 - August 31, 2025. The funds will be used to help underprivileged patients, purchase medical equipment, develop the Siriraj Center of Medical Excellence, and commemorate "The Father of Modern Thai Medicine" - the Prince Father Mahitala Dhibesra Adulyadej Vikrom. This initiative is part of the "Siriraj-Bangkok Bank Co-branded Card Project", where Bangkok Bank contributes to Siriraj Hospital through customer spending. For every transaction on the Be1st Smart TPN Siriraj card or the Bangkok Bank Visa Platinum Siriraj credit card Bangkok Bank will donate an 0.2% of the amount spent by the cardholder in each billing cycle to Siriraj Hospital. Additionally, Bangkok Bank will donate 100 baht for every new Be1st Smart TPN Siriraj debit card issued and another 50 baht per card from the annual fee in subsequent years.
