Krungsri (Bank of Ayudhya PCL) announces a reduction in its lending rates by up to 0.25% per annum, effective from 7 March 2025. This adjustment follows the recent decrease in the policy rate announced on 26 February 2025.

Krungsri cuts lending rates by up to 0.25%, effective 7 March 2025

Mr. Kenichi Yamato, Krungsri President and Chief Executive Officer, revealed, "Given Thailand's ongoing economic challenges and related risk factors, Krungsri recognizes the importance of providing support to ease the financial burden on retail customers and reduce operational costs for business operators. In alignment with the policy rate direction and to support overall Thai economic growth, the Bank has decided to reduce lending rates for all customer segments."

Krungsri reduces MLR, MOR, and MRR lending rates, resulting in new lending rates as follows:

  • Minimum Loan Rate (MLR) is reduced from 7.155% to 7.055%.
  • Minimum Overdraft Rate (MOR) is reduced from 7.325% to 7.075%.
  • Minimum Retail Rate (MRR) is reduced from 7.275% to 7.175%.

The reduction in lending rates is part of the Bank's ongoing support initiatives and reflects its commitment to assist all customer segments. These new lending rates will take effect on 7 March 2025.
