Qihuang Cultural Forum Held in Qingyang, Gansu

The 2025 Gansu Qingyang Qihuang Cultural Forum was successfully held on September 27 ^th. Renowned experts and scholars in traditional Chinese medicine field from across China gathered to exchange views on the inheritance and innovative development of TCM culture.

Qingyang is the birthplace of Qibo, a legendary founding figure of traditional Chinese medicine, and the place where the monograph The Yellow Emperor ' s Inner Canon  was compiled. It's also the cradle of TCM culture and is among the first national bases for TCM cultural promotion and education, earning it the title "Qihuang Hometown". The region is home to 527 species of wild medicinal herbs, 69 of which are listed in the National Pharmacopoeia and 25 included in export products.

Qingyang has long been committed to the study, promotion, inheritance, and innovative development of Qihuang culture. It regularly hosts events such as Qihuang Cultural Forum, the Qihuang Lecture Hall, and the "AI+TCM Industry Ecology Conference", helping establish "Qihuang Hometown" as a widely recognized cultural brand in both the academic and historical cultural circles of TCM.
