กรุงเทพฯ--2 ส.ค.--The Sukhothai Bangkok

The Sukhothai Bangkok proudly welcomes Co-owner and Executive Chef Martin Boetz, famous for his “Modern Thai style cooking”, and his team from the award winning Longrain Sydney and Longrain Melbourne in Australia (www.longrain.com). In 1999, Martin joined forces with Sam Christie to launch Longrain Restaurant & Bar. Longrain is a contemporary restaurant, bar, Asian produce store and canteen. It located within an expansive 110 year-old converted warehouse in Sydney’s Surry Hills and was awarded Best New Restaurant and 2 Chef’s-Hats from The Sydney Morning Herald’s Good Food Guide Awards, just two years after its grand opening. After much anticipation the doors of Longrain Melbourne were opened in 2005. Both Longrain Sydney and Longrain Melbourne have consistently achieved Good Food Guide Awards every year since opening. Martin’s menu is a mouth-watering blend of Thai and southern Chinese influences infused with the freshest local produce and ingredients, combining the contrasting flavours of hot, sour, salty and sweet. His resulting menu is a luscious balance of textures, flavours and aromas. The menu highlights include Betel leaves with smoked trout, galangal and trout roe; Eggnet with pork, river prawn, bean sprouts and cucumber relish. For 3 days only! Martin will present Thai/Asian-inspired cuisine in his “Longrain Dinner” from 25-27 August 2011 at Celadon of The Sukhothai Bangkok. Selected premium wines will also be available at your choice. 25 August : Wine Dinner at Baht 4,500++ per person 26-27 August : Set Dinner at Baht 2,500++/person (food only) or Baht 4,900++/person (food paired with wine) Reservations essential!
