MasterCard International today officially launches MasterCard Priceless Moments, an exciting promotion campaign which offers cardholders the opportunity to win ONE million baht. With this campaign which runs from 16 May to 31 August, MasterCard aims to grow brand awareness and encourage card usage among Thai consumers. In addition to giving cardholders the chance to become a millionaire, MasterCard Priceless Moments also features exclusive offers from Cathay Pacific Airways and Sheraton Hotels.
MasterCard Priceless Moments gives cardholders chances to win the grand prize of ONE million baht when they make payments using their MasterCard or MasterCard Electronic card. For every Bt500 of accumulated spending during this period, cardholders will get a chance to participate in the grand lucky draw. The draw also gives cardholders the opportunity to win three holiday packages to Australia, with hotel accommodation and Bt10,000 worth of shopping money. Winners will be selected during a lucky draw in September 2001.
MasterCard Priceless Moments also offers cardholders an attractive travel package from Cathay Pacific Airways. Mr. Yongyut Lujintanon, Sales & Marketing Manager for Thailand & Myanmar, Cathay Pacific Airways Limited said, "We are pleased to offer MasterCard cardholders an exclusive three days/two nights package to Hong Kong, from just Bt 8,550. MasterCard Priceless Moments also provides cardholders an opportunity to "dine for free" at the Royal Orchid Sheraton and Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit hotels. Whenever a cardholder dines at either hotel with at least one other person and uses a MasterCard or MasterCard Electronic card to settle the bill, the paying cardholder's portion of the meal will be free. Further, there is no limit as to how often a cardholder can take advantage of this offer. MasterCard cardholders can also experience MasterCard Priceless Moments at the Westin Banyan Tree's Rom Sai or Bai Yun restaurants and receive a 20% discount in their bills. Cardholders can take advantage of these offers till 31 August 2001.
To build up excitement and create awareness of the campaign, MasterCard is also giving away Bt. 10,000 every week on two of the most popular radio stations.
- Bt. 500 will be given away via MasterCard sponsored game segments on both stations each morning from Monday to Friday, (FM106.5 from 6.45 am to 7.00 am and FM91.5 from 8.30 am to 9.00 am).
- Bt. 5000 will be given away every Friday on FM106.5 to a cardholder who faxes in his or her recent credit card receipts (minimum Bt. 500 and less than one week old transaction) (fax no.: 260-6599). Each qualifying receipt will entitle the cardholder to one chance in the weekly draw.
