DVT & Veritec to Offer VeriCode(R) Integrated Smart Cameras; Agreement to Serve Global Customers in LCD Industry

DVT Corporation and Minnesota-based Veritec, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: VRTC) announced today an agreement to integrate Veritec's industry-leading VeriCode(R) symbol reading capabilities into DVT's Legend family of Ethernet-enabled SmartImage sensors. Under the licensing agreement, the VeriCode enabled SmartImage Sensors from DVT will be offered through the combined distributor networks of both companies, and will provide customers patent protection under U.S. patents nos. 4924078, 5331176 and 5612524.
