New release features fastest Exchange backup and first integrated Windows Server 2003 (.NET) support

Fastest Backup and Restore of Exchange - VERITAS Backup Exec 9.0 not only offers the fastest backup and recovery of Exchange environments, 88 percent faster than the previous 8.6 version , it also allows companies to restore individual public folders and attachments, providing an extra level of granularity to e-mail backup operations.
First Integrated Microsoft Windows (.NET) Server 2003 support - VERITAS Backup Exec 9.0 supports all Microsoft server platforms, including the upcoming Windows Server 2003 and .NET suite of products. VERITAS Backup Exec 9.0's close integration with Microsoft builds upon a decade of experience designing products for Microsoft environments, including technology components embedded in Microsoft Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Windows Server 2003 operating systems, enabling high availability and efficient management of storage assets.
Fastest and Simplest Installation - New installation wizards and automation technology allow users to install VERITAS Backup Exec 9.0 in ten minutes, the fastest backup installation on the market, minimizing backup administration costs.
First Anywhere Internet Interface - The first "Anywhere Internet" Web-based console for backup and recovery software allows administrators to monitor and manage their backup and recovery jobs from any Internet-connected computer, anywhere in the world.
