Bangkok--Fab 4--TQPR Thailand montageTHAILAND is a new and innovative web-based communications environment created and managed by the British Council and Ministry of Education to facilitate international schools link between teachers and students. The core of the programme is the portal website www.montageplus.co.uk/thailand, which gives access to over ninety interactive curriculum projects ready for use in the classroom. montageTHAILAND will enable students: - to utilise Information and Communications Technology (ICT) to facilitate learning across a range of subjects including English Language, Arts and Culture, Science, Geography and Mathematics - to communicate effectively in English - to build friendships and links with students in the UK - to learn more creatively through fun and interactive projects. montageTHAILAND will also help develop and assist teaching professionals by providing a forum for communication and the exchange of idea among groups of teachers and professors. The website has a search function and useful links t o a large knowledge base. It takes advantage of the latest information technology to enable teachers and professors alike to apply and develop more effective teaching methods. It also helps develop research skills.
