British Council opens a new Learning Space, the English-learning hub in the heart of Sukhumvit, designed to develop future-ready language skills

This newly established learning space has been designed with a modern atmosphere to support students of all ages. Its comprehensive English courses help learners build confidence in real-life communication while complementing our existing centres in Siam Square and Pinklao, giving parents greater flexibility in choosing the most convenient location.

Courses for every age group, from primary to pre-university

At the British Council - Sukhumvit Learning Space, our team of expert teachers delivers English courses designed to build well-rounded skills and boost students' confidence.

- Primary Plus - English for primary students (ages 10-12)

A fun and confidence-building programme for young learners, taught in small classes by specialist teachers. Students develop communication, teamwork and critical-thinking skills while extending their learning through the Learning Hub, where parents can easily track their child's progress.

- Secondary Plus - English for teens (ages 12-17)

A dynamic programme that encourages teens to express themselves, think creatively and communicate naturally. Students take part in engaging activities and group projects in an open, supportive environment, complemented by further practice on the Learning Hub to prepare them for future study and the modern world.

- English for Academic Purposes (EAP) - Academic English for university preparation

A comprehensive course that builds essential academic English skills, including participating in discussions, delivering presentations, note-taking, and reading and writing academic texts. Students also develop research skills, ensuring a confident and effective transition from secondary school to university.

- Secondary IELTS - IELTS preparation for secondary students (ages 15-17)

An intensive course designed to strengthen listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, enhance vocabulary and equip students with effective exam strategies. Learners practise a wide range of question types and analyse sample texts and authentic test materials to build confidence before the exam. Courses are available during regular terms or as intensive holiday programmes.

The British Council - Sukhumvit Learning Space will open in January 2026, and registration is now available. Special offers are available for students who register between now and January 2026.
