Seagate Technology (Thailand) Limited, Thai Robotics Society and Sripatum University’s Faculty of Informatics, jointly organize the final round contest of Robocup Thailand Championship 2007. Chulalongkorn University’s Plasma-Z robot team is the winning team. The team is awarded a cash prize of 200,000 baht and will represent Thailand at the World RoboCup 2007 event, to be held in the U.S. in June this year. Khai-nui robot team, Songkhla University receives the second-place finishers, the best technique and the popular vote team awards. The team is awarded the cash prize of totally 80,000 baht. Kasetsart University’s Scuba robot team receives the third-place finishers award. Chula's Deep GI: AI Revolutionizes Gastrointestinal Cancers Detection

The Faculty of Medicine , Chulalongkorn University , in collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering , has developed " Deep GI ," an artificial intelligence (AI) innovation designed to assist doctors in detecting gastrointestinal cancers with high standard performance equal to that of expert specialists.
