Bangkok--28 May--OASIS Media

Bosch launches new and innovative “Aerotwin” wiper blade which provides high wiping performance, smooth, low-noise operation and easy to install to both European and Japanese cars, thanks to it’s outstanding aerodynamic design and integrated spoiler. Mr. Yingyuad Whangprayoat, General Manager of the Automotive Division of Robert Bosch Limited, said the new "Aerotwin" wiper blade is of the most innovative technology of Bosch's wiper blade production. “Aerotwin” is unique with its aero-dynamic design of no-steel frame, contributing to better efficiency and low-noise operation of the wipers. It also ensures safety when the vehicle is at high speed. Thanks to the integration of an aero-dynamic spoiler, the blades do not lift-off when they are in operation, and also have better adhesion to the glass when the vehicle is traveling at high speed. The Evodium spring strip, designed for perfect alignment to the curvature of the windscreen of each model of vehicle, also gives more even distribution of the wiper blade pressure on the windscreen. Evodium is a special kind of Alloy which has property of flexibility and durability. The result is a clear wiping performance, low-noise operation, and more durable than conventional wiper blades. The “Aerotwin” wiper blade made of a synthetic two-component wiper-blade element (thus ”twin”) to ensure it's flexibility, perfect wiping performance, and durability at the same time. The blades can be installed simply with Quick Clip adapter and changing them is so easy that you can do it yourself. With the quick clip adapter, the "Aerotwin" wiper blade can be easily mounted to many of both European and Japanese vehicles regardless of BMW, Volvo, Audi, Toyota, Honda, Mitsubishi, Mazda, Nissan, Isuzu, etc. Bosch “Aerotwin” wiper blade has been fitted as OE components in many of the European passenger cars. A continued development of this innovative product for the Japanese cars is part of Bosch’s plan to diversify into Japanese car automotive parts market. “We aim to increase product items to cover 80 - 90 per cent of the Japanese vehicles existing in the current market, from what we have currently around 50 per cent coverage. Our available automotive spare parts for Japanese vehicle include wiper blade, spark plug, maintenance-free battery, brake pad, oil filter, fuel pump, oxygen sensor, lighting systems, etc. We expect to see growth in this first stage. In the long term plan, when our production covers wider range of products, we will take even more aggressive actions to grab larger shares of the automotive replacement parts market.”, said Mr. Yingyuad.
