The Biography Channel? (BIO) will launch in Southeast Asia on 27 May 2008, it was announced by Louis Boswell, General Manager, AETN All Asia Networks (AAAN), a joint venture of A&E Television Networks (AETN) and ASTRO All Asia Entertainment Networks Limited (ASTRO). At launch, BIO will be available in Singapore and on cable platforms in the Philippines, with additional distribution agreements expected in the coming months for Thailand and around the region. Plans also call for distributing BIO content via digital services, including mobile, broadband and VOD.
