Asia Boating Awards return to the Hong Kong Gold Coast Boat Show The seventh edition of the Asia Boating Awards will be held in Hong Kong on May 6, 2011 Online nominations close on March 6 The upcoming Asia Boating Awards, organised by Asia-Pacific Boating and China Boating magazines, will be held at the Hong Kong Gold Coast Boat Show on May 6. This is preceded by a gala dinner on May 5 to mark the 35th anniversary of Asia-Pacific Boating, which was founded in Hong Kong in 1976 and is one of Hong Kong’s longest running publications. The Hong Kong Gold Coast Boat Show is one of the region’s top annual boat shows, and takes place in Tuen Mun, at the prestigious Hong Kong Gold Coast Yacht and Country Club, which is positioning itself as a place that caters to superyachts. This marks a return to Hong Kong for the seventh edition of the most prestigious night for the fast-growing Asian yachting industry drawing industry insiders from around the region and around the world.
