Photo Release: FedEx Brings the Sport of Tennis to Underprivileged Kids

It was a day to remember for 20 children from the Mercy Centre in Bangkok who were treated to a trip to watch international tennis stars at the PTT Thailand Open 2011. The visit was organised by FedEx Express in Thailand as part of its overall support of the tournament as the “Official Carrier” for the ATP Tour. Managing Director of FedEx Express Thailand and Indochina, David Carden said the trip for the children was part of the company’s commitment to give something back to society. “These children come from very deprived backgrounds and we are simply thrilled to have the opportunity to give them their own special day.
