MOZART & VIVALDI COME TO SIAM BAYSHORE HOTEL, PATTAYA

SSMS String Orchestra, featuring prominent violinist Tasana Nagavajara to play Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons and two Divertimenti by Mozart at exclusive concert. Sukosol Hotels in association with Pattaya Classical Music and Siam Commercial Bank are proud to announce a special musical event to be hosted at Siam Bayshore Resort, Pattaya on the 28th of October, 2013. In an evening that promises to be one of the musical highlights of the Pattaya calendar, The Silapakorn Summer Music School (SSMS) String Orchestra was formed in 2005. The SSMS invites students from all music schools in Thailand each year to study over summer. The SSMS String Orchestra comprises outstanding alumni from the Summer School. Many of the young performers have performed in a major musical center such as Carnegie Hall New York, Cadogan Hall London among others. The Silapakorn Summer Music School (SSMS) String Orchestra will perform The Four Seasons by Italian composer Vivaldi, as well as two of Mozart’s Divertimenti. In addition, the concert will feature solo performances by Tasana Nagavajara, one of Thailand’s finest violinists and a distinguished graduate of the International Menuhin Music Academy in Switzerland. Khun Tasana has also served as Concert Master of the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra for ten years and is invited frequently to play in Italy and Germany. The orchestra is directed by SSMS faculty member Leo Phillips, a distinguished British violinist and conductor, having worked with Khun Tasana and the SSMS Orchestra to great acclaim in the past. The performance will begin at 7.00pm in Parkview Hall, an intimate theatre venue at Siam Bayshore Resort. Tickets for this remarkable evening are available at 500 baht for adults and 250 baht for students and children over the age of six.
