Two senior appointments at Jetstar Asia

Jetstar Asia has recently made two senior appointments to support the carrier’s operations in Singapore. Mr Gareth Rogers has been appointed Chief Financial Officer for Jetstar Asia effective from 19 August 2013 and will be responsible for Finance and IT functions. Gareth brings more than 20 years of experience garnered from multinational companies such as ITT Corporation and The Zuellig Group. Gareth has held senior financial and general management positions and has been based in South East Asia for the last 13 years. He is has been a Permanent Resident of Singapore since 2004. Gareth holds qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (ACMA), the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (CA Singapore) and holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the Manchester Business School in the UK. Mr Javier Massot has assumed the role of Head of Airport and Network Operations for Jetstar Asia.. Javier is responsible for passenger handling, ramp operations and the daily operations of the network including crew rosters and flight watch. Javier was previously Manager, Operations Development for the Jetstar Group based in Singapore, where he led projects to make the travel experience easier for our customers and efficient for the airline. Prior to Jetstar, Javier was the Senior Vice President of Ground Operations at Spanair responsible for managing more than 2000 weekly flights and 65 aircraft carrying up to 10 million passengers a year. Javier graduated from the School of Aeronautics in the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid in 2003 and holds a Masters of Business Administration from the IE Business School in 2006. -KP- Click for photo release at www.thaipr.net

Jetstar Adds 5th Service in Response to Okinawa Popularity

Jetstar Asia, the only airline to provide direct scheduled flights between Singapore and Okinawa, will boost its services between the two cities from four to five return flights a week, from 29 October 2019 in response to increasing demand.
