Dow Corning to Highlight the Latest that Advanced Silicone Technology Has to Offer LED Lighting and Advanced Assembly at Industry Expo in Thailand

          Exhibiting at the concurrently run LED Expo and PCB Expo in Bangkok, Dow Corning will showcase one of the industry's broadest ranges of high-performance silicone solutions
          Dow Corning, a global leader in silicones, silicon-based technology and innovation, announced today that it will feature its broad portfolio of cutting-edge silicone solutions for enhancing, protecting and shaping LED lighting at Booth N03, Hall Challenger 1 during the LED and PCB Expo Thailand 2017 events, which run concurrently from May 11 to 13 in Bangkok's Impact Exhibition & Convention Center.

          Among the broad list of LED solutions featured at the booth will:
          The Dow Corning® Moldable Silicone series, which significantly expands design options and reliability for LED lamps and luminaires. Highlights on display will include the portfolio's latest additions: Dow Corning® MS-4002 and MS-4022 Moldable Silicones. Both offer high optical transmission, excellent photothermal stability and a smooth surface feeling
          Selections from the company's bright white reflective materials for LED packaging will include Dow Corning® CI-2001 Coating, which is formulated to adhere to common substrates, enhance optical efficiency and deliver good resistance against environment aging
          Also on display, will be Dow Corning's wide selection of materials for advanced assembly of PCBs, modules and downstream products, such as next-generation automotive sensors and touchscreen displays, hybrid/electric vehicle battery packs and anti-sulfur protective coatings. Featured products from this category will include:
          Dow Corning® EA-7100 Adhesive, a one-part thixotropic adhesive that has durable adhesion on a broad range of substrates with fast cure times at temperatures of 100°C
          Dow Corning® TC-4525 Thermally Conductive Gap Filler, which delivers outstandingly high 2.5W/mK thermal conductivity to help lower the total cost of ownership for components used in electric and hybrid electric vehicles
          Dow Corning® EA-5151 Quick in Connect (QiC) Adhesive, a one-part moisture cure adhesive that applies as a liquid but delivers green strength very quickly to help accelerate handling, faster assembly and ultimately production throughput
          Dow Corning® CC-3040 Conformal Coating, a BTX-free coating that delivers enhanced corrosion and scratch resistance for PCBs designed to perform reliably in harsh environments
