          Komatsu invests 875 MB on its Asia Training & Demonstration Center (ATDC) to incubate Komatsu skilled personnel to serve the rapidly growing heavy industry in Thailand, by transferring Komatsu know-how and advanced technology with technical training from Japan.
          Mr. Kazuyuki Kuwabara, General Manager, Komatsu Parts Asia Co., Ltd., revealed: "Komatsu products are widely recognized for its quality and advanced technology among customers, resulting in the company's consistent growth during the past years. Realizing the high potential of Thai market, Komatsu Japan has decided Thailand to serve as the human resource development center and a showcase of Komatsu product demonstration in Asia."

One of Komatsu's missions is to research and develop world-class quality products with advanced technology in line with the philosophy "DANTOTSU." With our supports in terms of technical knowledge, service and marketing, our global partners enjoy successful development. And, we have strong intention to see the same success in Thailand, too. Therefore, we decided to invest 25 million US dollars or 875 million baht on the Asia Training & Demonstration Center (ATDC) for distributors' human resource development. HR development is believed to be an important factor to serve the company's growth in the future. For training operation, we are granted support from the technical training center in Japan to ensure that all training programs meet Komatsu Japan's training standard."
          Komatsu Asia Training & Demonstration Center (ATDC) spans over an area of 77,392 sq m or approximately 48 rai of land, comprising of three functional areas. The first one is an office building in modern design, which has 6 classrooms and is connected to the workshop, serving its training needs. An auditorium with 100 seats, meanwhile, features demonstrations of Komatsu machinery and new products showcase. The recreational area is also reserved for both customers and distributors.
          In addition, the training center has a team of specialists responsible for particular parts. The Technical Training team has six experts on site, while the Machine Demonstration & Operator Training team has four specialists. The Training Planning and Administration teams have 5 persons, ready to serve visitors in terms of logistics arrangements like accommodation, transportation and immigration visa, etc.
          What's more, the 21 types of machinery used in construction and mining industry are displayed here to educate customers and distributors on the proper maneuverability. Customers will be trained with both theory and practice on machinery control.
