Mr. Peter Galli, Vice President of Communications at Nissan Motor (Thailand) Co., Ltd., accepted the award from Dr. Somchai Harnhirun, Chair of Ceremony and Deputy Minister of Industry at an event at Impact Muang Thong Thani.
"We are proud and honored to receive this outstanding award, recognizing our contribution to helping protect the environment. Nissan has been in the Electric Vehicle space for 70-years, starting with our first EV - the 1947 Tama," Mr. Galli said. "As concerns about air quality and the environment grow, innovative Nissan solutions like e-POWER, and EVs like the Leaf, are essential to a smart, clean and sustainable driving future, without compromising affordability or driving pleasure," he added.
Nissan Motor (Thailand)'s commitment to being environmentally friendly is also clearly reflected through its continuous product development that includes a diverse range of fuel efficient vehicles like the Nissan Note, March, and Almera.
"In addition, we recently announced our plan to bring the new Leaf to Thailand, the first company to announce its intent to deliver a mainstream zero-emission Intelligent Electric Vehicle locally. This is part of our strategy to continue providing 'Innovation that Excites' to our valued customers here in Thailand," Mr. Galli said.
